Handmade from AEBL Stainless steel with a highly specialized heat treat found only here at Pirate Forge.  This Fillet Knife will  take and hold a razor sharp edge.   Laser engraved skull and bones touchmark as well as Pirate Forge branding on opposite side..  AEBL  stainless is resistance to rust and has excellent toughness making it a great choice for a Fillet Knife.   The blade is flat ground with a satin finish.  The bevel work with the distal taper gives this blade a good amount of Flex.  It does extremely well on the bigger saltwater species as well as small freshwater fish.  I speak from experience.  Ive used my Big Poppa Flex on big 30 plus inch Red Snapper to Little 4" shellcracker bream.  It did such a great job!!!!    The handle features textured micarta with Hollow copper pins.  This  blade comes with a handmade leather belt loop carry sheath.
