First ever CopperMai Coin!  This is made from Baker Forge and Tool Crushed W's core Copper Mai.  I shape the coin in house then heat treat it.  After heat treat it is tempered just like the blades.  After all of that I then surface grind the surface and prep for laser engraving.  This coin underwent over 6 hours of laser engraving to bring out the very detailed deep cut pattern you see here. Then some handsanding and polishing before a good soak in Gator Piss to bring out all the copper and damascus! This coin is a unique thing of beauty.   Also ordinary challenge coins are just boring.... So I added something else.... Often times when faced with a decision of "what should I do" in the forge....I used a piece of wood with Yes on one side and No on the other to make decisions.. I ask the question then throw it up in the air and let it come crashing down hitting anvils, tools, people, and other things until it makes it to the shop floor! I then go with the Answer!! So on these coins I've included the "Yay" and "nay"..... A cool coin is a little better than a piece of 2x4.... Now you can flip the coin to help you make all your bad pirate decisions!!! I mean good decisions... because theres no such thing as a bad decision... Even a decision to be a little bad is sometimes good depending on what we are talking about... you know Pirate Kinda STuff.
